Tokyo Game Show 2004

The registration is now open for the Tokyo Game Show 2004, the Japanese equivalent to E3 (or is it the other way?). If you happen to go and bought your tickets online, make sure that you get them at the entrance office BEFORE you make the mile-long line. Trust me, I know what I am taking about :)

Accelerating change

Thirty-six leading change agents. Six keynotes. Three themes. Three debates. As you can see, quite a lot going on in Stanford on Sept 10-12, 2004. Among the speakers: Edward Castronova, Will Wright, Philip Rosedale, Robert Gehorsam, and Nova Barlow (and, possibly, James Au). See you at GDC Europe

I'll be giving a talk at GDC Europe this year, so see you guys in London on late August!

First Person

More and more articles from MIT Press' First Person are being posted online at ebr.com. I have just been informed that mine went live yesterday, so I wanted to let you guys know. I have to admit that I haven't read all the articles yet, but I was very pleased with many of them. The format (article + 2 responses from other authors + a counterresponse) is also incredible effective and very refreshing (most of the responses could not be fully printed in the book, so they are available online, too).
